Virial Theorem
$$ \bar{T}=-\frac{1}{2}\sum_i F_i\cdot r_i $$
For a particle, moving in a central force field, If $V=cr^{n+1}$,
$$ \bar{T}=\frac{n+1}{2}\bar{V} $$
So for inverse square law of force n=-2, $\bar{T}=-\bar{V}/2$
